Want to get started in FPV racing the easy way? We have all the gear in one place for you to choose from!
Base package includes: $487.94 Total Value
1) Goggles - This package starts with the FPV goggle selection and is one of the most important choices you will make. We give the choice between 2 of the best video goggles available on the market today; the Fatshark Dominator V3 and the Fatshark Dominator HD3. There are a few key differences, but the main one is 16:9 viewing ratio with the V3 and 4:3 with the HD3. The Dominator V3 is a more economical choice and is the default option. When you make a goggle selection, it will automatically include the Fatshark 5.8 Race Band receiver module unless "none" or an upgrade is chosen. For those that have impaired vision or just like the effect of a single screen, the Fatshark Transformer HD is an excellent choice. If you choose this option, select "none" in the receiver section, but be sure to buy 3 antennas since diversity is built in. (Battery is not included with Transformer HD)
2) Video Transmitter - The next step is to choose your transmitter. We give you the option of 3 RMRC Cricket V2 transmitters. They have been proven to be reliable and durable while giving you the wide range of input voltages to allow for easy installation. The 25mw usually works best indoors to reduce the effect known as multipathing, while 200mw is more commonly used with larger outdoor tracks with fewer solid objects like walls to reflect signals. The Cricket Pro with SMA would be ideal if you need to change output power when traveling to races.
3) Antennas - To achieve clear video and range, antennas are the most essential component. We only offer antennas that are high in quality and know to produce results. The Menace RC Raptor antennas are less expensive and offer greater durability at a smaller size than most antennas along with excellent performance. The Menace RC Invader Patch antenna is also available if you select a diversity receiver.
4) Camera - The next step is the camera and we give a few of our most popular options to choose from. The standard option is the STRIX Ochi 650. It offers the same chip set as many other cameras in this area, but offers great durability with the metal case, smaller footprint, and team pilot image tuning. The Foxeer HS1177 and Runcam Swift 2 are also excellent choices; especially for frames that are designed to use their case dimensions specifically. They also include the proper cable to connect to the Cricket series transmitters.
