Shipping & Returns

Shortcuts:

Shipping and handling estimates are provided in the cart by entering your shipping destination, and also on the payment screen. We highly recommend choosing FedEx or UPS over USPS due to the better reliability and service of those carriers.

In stock ready to ship items ordered before 2:00pm Eastern time on a business day will be shipped shipped the same day.

If any item in an order is back-ordered, the entire shipment will be held until the item is in stock.  If you wish to receive in-stock items sooner please make separate orders.

Be default, shipments will not be sent with a signature required.  Please see insurance section below for more information.

Shipments will be sent to the address entered on our web page during checkout. Ready Made RC, LLC cannot be held responsible if the incorrect shipping address is entered by the customer during checkout. We cannot change shipping addresses after the order has been placed, as the address information you enter is used as part of the fraud checks and fraud prevention.  The shipping address you enter on our web page takes precedence over addresses listed in the order comments or entered in PayPal. If additional fees are required to re-ship packages due to address errors, those fees may be passed on to the customer. FedEx and UPS can not ship to PO Boxes. Failure to enter a valid street address may delay your shipment. Ready Made RC, LLC reserves the right to cancel and refund any orders that have indicators showing there is some risk that a stolen credit card is possibly being used.  Paying through PayPal is recommended for new customers purchasing high value items to prevent possible order cancelations or delays.

 

USPS shipments do not offer guaranteed delivery transit times. Occasionally USPS misroutes shipments. Any shipment listed as being misrouted or marked as return to sender in error will not be re-shipped until the package arrives at RMRC headquarters.

Insurance

The optional shipping insurance covers damage due to improper handling for all shipping methods when chosen, and it adds a signature requirement for the delivery of the shipment*. 

Shipments sent via UPS or FedEx with the optional insurance chosen will include signature confirmation*, and up to the full price of the items in the shipment will be covered for shipments that do not arrive at their destination or arrive damaged.

For shipments sent via the USPS for US orders only, choosing the optional shipping insurance will also add signature confirmation* when available.

If insurance is not selected for an order, no signature will be required.  Ready Made RC, LLC is not responsible for the loss or theft of any shipments after the items have been listed as delivered by the carrier.

International shipments using USPS can not include signature confirmation even if insurance is purchased, and are not covered in the event of non-delivery (see below).  Insured international shipments are only covered for damage during shipping.

For all FedEx and UPS shipments, and USPS shipments going to US addresses, if an shipment is lost or stolen in transit and no insurance was purchased at checkout, Ready Made RC, LLC can only be liable for the amount covered in the Limits of Liability from the shipping carrier used. These limits are set by each carrier individually and subject to change. Information can be found on the web page for each carrier regarding those limitations. Shipments that show as "left at door" but not found by the customer must be reported within 24 hours.

*Insurance cost must be greater than $2.00 for items to be shipped as "signature required". 

Information for International Shipments

For international shipments, the First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International options typically will not provide tracking or delivery confirmation after the shipments leave the United States.  Express Mail International shipments are more likely to be scanned after they leave the United States, but there is no guarantee from Ready Made RC, LLC or the USPS that items will receive additional scans.  Please note that delivery times for USPS international shipments can vary wildly, even for Priority and Express Mail shipments, and it could take 1 to 3 months to receive items sent via the US Post Office under worst case situations. Since the USPS will not claim responsibility for packages and the shipments are not normally scanned once they leave the United States, Ready Made RC, LLC cannot be held responsible for lost shipments for international orders when they have been shipped via any USPS method.  Choosing a USPS method of shipment for international shipments is the customer's choice and they are accepting full responsibility for any lost shipment.  If you want a fully traceable shipment, you must choose UPS or FedEx for international shipments.  You agree to these terms when placing an order with us.

  The only shipping method that offer guaranteed delivery times is FedEx.

For international shipping, buyer is responsible for any tariffs, import taxes, or brokerage fees from the shipping company.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify the legality of importing any equipment purchased from Ready Made RC, LLC.  If an item is seized or stopped by customs, no refunds will be issued.  Customs declarations will be listed at the price paid for the items, no exceptions. Ready Made RC, LLC reserves the right to cancel or deny any orders if export or import laws may restrict shipping of these products to your country. To avoid problems with export regulations, we ask that the total product cost must be under $2500 per day for international orders.

Orders that are refused will have the amount of the return shipping plus any applicable duties/taxes removed from the refund, in addition to the original shipping charges.  None of these are refunded by the shipping companies. In the case of international orders, typically the return shipping plus taxes/duties is often more than the cost of the products. Customers agree they WILL NOT refuse any shipments when placing an order with RMRC. 

Returns/Warranty:

Please report any problems you are having to us via e-mail at support@readymaderc.com or open a support ticket at suppoer.readymaderc.com/.  Please do not ship items back prior to contacting us and receiving a return authorization.

All warranties cover defects in material or workmanship only.  Ready Made RC, LLC cannot be held responsible for damage due to crashes, incorrect hookup, or any other user error.  Additionally, warranty cannot be claimed with the manufacturers for equipment that has been modified, therefore the user should ensure the equipment is tested in stock condition to verify proper working condition upon receipt. For US orders within 30 days of purchase, ReadyMadeRC will, at its discretion, replace faulty components and include return shipping for those components.  After 30 days, the customer is responsible for shipping the items back to ReadyMadeRC for warranty coverage. All returns require an RMA form and support ticket number, which can be obtained by opening a support ticket at www.readymaderc.com/support. For international orders, return shipments are the responsibility of the customer for any warranty claims.  Please use a traceable shipping method, and the sender must pay all shipping and processing fees for the return shipment. Returns are processed in the order in which they are received.

Customers returning defective items will receive either a replacement, a store credit, or a refund.  Orders are eligible for refund up to 30 days after the order was shipped, otherwise store credit or replacement may be issued.

Returns of products in good working order will receive a refund for the price of the item only, not the shipping costs.  To receive a full refund for the product price, returns must be shipped within 30 days of purchase and received in new condition with no wear, and all packaging must be included and intact.  Returns of opened packages may be accepted under some rare situations, but may be subject to a restocking fee or rejected depending on the condition of the items.  We reserve the right to reject returned items if they are in a condition that renders them unsellable as a new product.

As parts of complex systems, failure of one component can result in a crash or damage to other items.  The warranty does not cover, and Ready Made RC, LLC is not responsible in any way, for damage to other equipment due to a failure of a component in a system.  Our warranty and liability only covers the repair or replacement of the item that failed under the standard warranty conditions.

Ready Made RC, LLC is not responsible in any way for the use, misuse, or any injury or damage to personal property from the use of any equipment purchased form this store.  It is the buyers responsibility to use the items safely and legally and to take proper measures to prevent any damage to person or property from the use of the equipment.

Lithium Ion / Lithium Polymer Batteries


As of April 1, 2016, transportation authorities require batteries to be discharged to 30% to travel by air.
In our experience storing batteries at this state is harmful to the battery.
So we discharge the batteries for each order, to prepare them for transit. This takes additional labor to complete. You can choose ground shipping to avoid the fee.

We recommend that you storage charge them upon arrival to store them before use.
