About Ready Made RC

From the Basement to the Forefront of FPV Flight "Us" started out as just one: Tim Stanfield (known to early forum-goers as Mr.Pibb), driven by a deep passion for the exciting, fun, and sometimes expensive hobby of FPV RC flight. In the late fall of 2008, Tim began selling specialized gear out of his basement and garage to fund his own builds. What began as a personal project quickly gained traction, and by June 2011, Ready Made RC (RMRC) became a full-time pursuit.

Today, we operate out of a 6,000-square-foot warehouse in Ohio, supported by an incredible, close-knit team of dedicated employees. While we have grown into one of the largest First Person View (FPV), Drone, and model aircraft retailers in the world, our grassroots hobbyist foundation remains at the heart of everything we do. We are builders, pilots, and enthusiasts first-and we continue to proudly serve the vibrant hobbyist community that built us.

Engineering Expertise Meets sUAS Innovation Prior to founding RMRC, Tim spent his days in the cleanrooms of a large R&D organization. Drawing on his electrical engineering background, he worked with specialized optics, electromagnetics, and complex technology processes. As a "technology geek" who loves solving complex problems, he was naturally drawn into the high-tech FPV market before the term "First Person View" even officially existed.

That technical expertise is baked into RMRC’s DNA. Today, it allows us to bridge the gap between custom RC hobby builds and professional unmanned aerial operations.
