Entry-Level Opportunity: Warehouse & Drone Technology Assistant

About Ready Made RC, LLC Ready Made RC, LLC is a leading supplier of drones, small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS), model aircraft, and related components. We provide equipment for hobbyist, commercial, educational, and government applications. Operating since 2009, we were one of the first businesses in the United States to focus on First Person View (FPV) flight. Our inventory ranges from commercial off-the-shelf items to custom-engineered and OEM products.

The Role We are offering an entry-level position that provides excellent hands-on experience and exposure to the fast-growing drone industry. Our team members handle a wide variety of tasks to support daily operations, making this a dynamic and engaging role designed to alleviate current resource shortages.

Core Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Follow packing slip instructions regarding locations and quantities to accurately pull products for customer orders. This requires strong attention to detail to prevent mistakes and offers a great way to learn about the various products used in the drone industry.
• Inventory Intake: Count, verify, and correctly stock incoming products. This demands high accuracy to prevent placement errors and will build your knowledge of technical components to properly determine the correct product.
• Shipping & Receiving: Assist our team with unloading larger shipments, including ocean containers.
• Warehouse Operations: Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, take out the trash, and assist in rearranging products while carefully documenting their new warehouse locations. Team members also provide general warehouse help as needed.

Bonus Opportunities for Skill Building Depending on your background, personal interests, and our company needs, you may also have the chance to gain experience in:

• Product Assembly: Build and test prototypes or components. This involves skills ranging from gluing foam parts to soldering and configuring flight controllers.
• Flight Testing: Assist in testing the performance of various airframes. While prior experience flying drones or RC planes is typical, some of these skills can be learned directly on the job.
• Content Creation: Record and edit video content to be used for social media posts and promotional materials.
• Event Support: Help prepare and pack inventory for fly-in events and expos. If your schedule allows, you might even attend these weekend and out-of-town events to assist customers with purchasing parts.

Compensation & Scheduling

• Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour. Higher could be considered for those with useful experience.
• Schedule Flexibility: Full-time or part-time schedules are available. Full time position schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. For part-time employees, Mondays are our primary need, but availability on other weekday mornings is also very helpful.
