The VIFLY Beacon is a specialized wireless, self-powered drone buzzer designed to simplify the recovery of lost aircraft. Unlike traditional buzzers that require complex soldering to a flight controller, the VIFLY Beacon utilizes an integrated motion sensor to detect crashes. When the sensor identifies that the drone has stopped moving, it automatically triggers a loud 105 dB alarm and a high-intensity LED strobe. This makes it an ideal solution for DJI models, camera drones, and fixed-wing aircraft that lack built-in high-volume recovery systems.

Engineered for reliability in tactical and research sUAS operations, the Beacon features an intelligent light sensor that automatically activates the strobe at night to maximize visibility. It is exceptionally lightweight at only 6 grams, ensuring that it can be mounted on micro-UAVs without compromising flight dynamics. With an internal 80mAh LiPo battery, the unit provides up to 30 hours of operation on a single 1.5-hour charge, ensuring that even if a drone is lost in a remote area, the recovery signal remains active for over a full day.
