The HDZero Race V3 VTX (SKU: HDZ3143) is a third-generation digital video transmitter engineered specifically for the rigors of FPV racing. This iteration focuses on extreme durability and streamlined integration, featuring a significantly thickened 1.6mm PCB and a 28mm width that matches standard flight controllers to minimize "overhang" vulnerability. Unlike its predecessors, the Race V3 features a wide 4V–12V input range, allowing it to be powered directly from a flight controller’s 5V/1.5A regulator or a dedicated 12V rail. It also introduces a reverse polarity protection circuit, a critical safety feature for field repairs and rapid builds.

Designed for the professional racing circuit, sUAS researchers, and tactical developers, the Race V3 supports the industry-leading 540p90 high-frame-rate mode, which delivers an ultra-low latency of approximately 14ms. The VTX utilizes a 20x20mm mounting pattern and arrives with a pre-soldered wiring harness, facilitating a "plug-and-play" experience with HD-ready flight controllers. To ensure signal reliability during high-G maneuvers or crashes, the antenna is secured by a mechanical metal retention bar, making the Race V3 one of the most mechanically robust digital transmitters in the 200mW class.
