The HobbyZone AeroScout S 2 1.1m RTF Basic with RealFlight, AS3X+ and SAFE is one of the most durable and beginner-friendly trainer aircraft available for learning to fly remote control airplanes. Featuring a unique "pusher" propulsion configuration—where the motor and propeller are positioned behind the wing pointing backward—the power system is completely shielded from nose-first landings, propeller strikes, and initial flight mishaps. Built from advanced EPO foam reinforced with composite material, the airframe withstands heavy usage while remaining lightweight and easily repairable.

This updated version comes equipped with Spektrum's upgraded AS3X+ technology to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, alongside multi-mode SAFE Select flight envelope protection (Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced modes) with Panic Recovery self-leveling at the flip of a switch. The RTF Basic package includes a Spektrum SLT6 6-channel 2.4GHz transmitter that doubles as a USB controller for the included RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator software, allowing new pilots to master controls on a PC before taking to the skies.
