Stripped of the protective outer shell to minimize weight down to 14 grams, the module features an integrated IST8310 digital compass, a high-gain 25x25x4mm ceramic patch antenna, a MAX2659ELT+ LNA RF amplifier, and a low-noise 3.3V regulator. It interfaces via a standard JST-GH 6-pin connector port and includes an onboard rechargeable Farah supercapacitor for rapid warm and hot start satellite re-acquisition.
