The Holybro M9N GPS (Secondary GPS 6-Pin) is an enterprise-grade, high-precision multi-constellation GNSS navigation module custom-tailored for professional sUAS platforms, autonomous vehicles, and industrial robotics requiring dual-GPS redundancy. Driven by the high-performance u-blox M9N engine, this concurrent receiver features a multi-band RF front-end architecture that tracks all four major global navigation satellite systems concurrently: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou. This simultaneous four-system tracking drastically enhances positional reliability, minimizes time-to-first-fix (TTFF), and maximizes satellite lock density when operating in heavily degraded environments, such as urban canyons or dense tree canopies.
This specific variant comes pre-terminated with a premium JST-GH 1.25mm 6-pin cable, purposely configured to function out-of-the-box as a secondary GPS module on Pixhawk-compliant flight controllers or a redundant sensor via the GPS2 / UART & I2C auxiliary input ports on Cube systems. Housed within a sleek protective case, the module combines a high-gain 25x25x4mm ceramic patch antenna with an integrated LNA MAX2659ELT+ RF amplifier and a SAW filter for unmatched signal integrity against onboard electromagnetic interference (EMI). Additionally, it embeds an internal IST8310 compass (magnetometer), an ultra-bright multi-color RGB status LED for clear hardware diagnostic tracking, an onboard warning buzzer, a physical safety arming switch, and a rechargeable backup capacitor to facilitate lightning-fast warm and hot starts.
