The 3DR SiK Telemetry Radio - Long Range 915MHz Kit is an advanced UAV communication system redesigned from the classic 3DR SiK radio. This upgraded module provides premium features such as true diversity and extended range, specifically tailored to enable Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operative capacity in a highly compact, power-efficient package. This specific kit comes equipped with two 2dBi General Purpose Antennas and operates on the 915MHz frequency band.
Built around open-source firmware developed for the standard MAVLink protocol, the radio integrates seamlessly with major open-source flight stacks and ground station software, including Mission Planner and QGroundControl (QGC). This radio kit utilizes interchangeable air and ground modules—meaning any unit can act as the vehicle or ground station transceiver. With features such as Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS), Adaptive Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), and built-in error correcting code, you can rely on robust, uninterrupted data links over several kilometers.
