Drawing on over a decade of flight controller architectural development, this slimline adapter is tailored for airframes where space is severely limited but longitudinal reach is absolutely essential—such as slender fixed-wing glider fuselages, compact multirotor arms, and streamlined autonomous pipe-inspection rovers. By dropping the wide, square footprints of traditional drone electronics, the "Longy" profile allows custom UAV fabricators to smoothly slide high-performance avionics down tight structural corridors.

The board interfaces seamlessly with the single-sided Control N1 core via its high-density board-to-board mounting system, turning micro-scale connections into robust, accessible peripheral stations. It features basic integrated power management that safely regulates a single 5V input rail to supply both the flight computer core and its connected sensors. The architecture traces out comprehensive peripheral interfaces from the H7 processor, including multiple UART/Serial lines equipped with hardware flow control, dual independent CAN bus nodes for DroneCAN telemetry, and I2C lines for external compasses.

Important Assembly Notice: To provide maximum installation flexibility, the included 0.1-inch row servo/PWM breakout header pins are shipped unsoldered. This allows builders to choose between straight, right-angle, or direct-wire configurations depending on layout constraints. No external mounting hardware (screws, standoffs, or dampening spacers) is included.
